Dr. Stacey Donaldson is the organizer and executive director of Learn ELAtion. She also serves as an associate professor at Belhaven University and the director of the TESOL program. She previous served as director of Instructional Design. Before joining Belhaven, Dr. Donaldson started an instructional services firm supporting ELA teachers in several districts and working with students to improve their ACT scores. This venture followed her service as the National Board Project Director with the Mississippi Department of Education for 3 years supporting the six World Class Teaching Programs in statewide efforts to improve teaching and student learning through Board certification. Donaldson is an NBCT and nationally certified in career and technical education. She has been involved in some aspect of mentoring and supporting teachers at the local, state, and national levels for the past 15 years. A 2015 Milken Fellow and 2010 National State Teacher of the Year, Donaldson spent 12 years in the classroom and is passionate about teaching, learning, and sharing this joy with students and teachers.  Donaldson authored the award-winning memoir Psalm 23: Wonders of God’s Love in 2008.
